The Mountain View Transit Center is a gateway to Downtown Mountain View and includes a Caltrain station, VTA light rail station and bus stops, and various public and private shuttle stops. The presentation will provide an overview of the Master Plan process and plan to close Castro Street over the Caltrain tracks, provide bike/pedestrian undercrossings of Central Expressway and Caltrain tracks, enhance the station platforms and bus/shuttle transfer areas, and pursue joint development of the surface parking lot.
