Subdivision Map Act: Updates on Key Developments in 2017
The Subdivision Map Act is an essential to the regulation of land use by cities and counties throughout California. The Map Act sits at the critical intersection between community land use planning and private real estate development, with subdivision maps serving both to ensure the proper design and improvement and to authorize the sale, lease, and financing of property.
